Kathy J. Stevens, DVM

Special Interests: Surgery and Wound Management
Dr. Kathy Stevens started her career in veterinary medicine at All Creatures in 1987 with Dr. R. D Lewis as her mentor. After 11 years practicing small animal and equine medicine the practice decided to specialize in smaller animals and exotics. Dr. Stevens took over ownership and management of the practice in 1998. Her special interests include surgery and wound management but she really enjoys all aspects of practice.
Dr. Stevens and her husband have one daughter. They enjoy many outdoor activities together. The family is actively involved at King of Kings church.
Their fur family consists of 2 horses- Lady and Paint, Labrador Retriever- Jetta , 4 cats- Rockie, Cookie, Tigger and Snow, and 1 bird- Bart.
Dr. Stevens loves water and snow skiing, gardening, horseback riding, archery, and anything else outdoors.
Anne Belshan, DVM

Special Interests: Exotic Medicine, Behavior, Dermatology
Dr. Anne Belshan graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She and her husband share their home with 3 children, a dog, a Senegal parrot, a Russian tortoise, a guinea pig and too many fish to count.
In her spare time, Dr. Belshan enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and reading. She has special interests in exotic pet medicine, behavior, and dermatology. Dr. Belshan loves the challenge and variety that meets her every day as a veterinarian.
Mary Sutherland, DVM

Education: Kansas State University
Special Interests: Soft tissue surgery, Dentistry and Exotics
Dr. Mary Sutherland was born in Omaha and graduated from Roncalli Catholic High School in 1997. She grew up riding horses, swimming and running. She ran track and cross country for Doane College in Crete, NE where she received her Bachelor's degree.
Dr. Sutherland then attended Kansas State University for her veterinary degree. After graduation in 2005 she married and moved to North Pole, Alaska where she practiced for 7 years.
Dr. Sutherland has three boys, all born in Alaska. She and her husband both enjoy the outdoors and running, as well as soccer and tennis. She also enjoys way too many crafts than she has time for, including leatherwork, scrapbooking, sewing and crochet.
They own a rescued Greyhound, a cat and 2 birds.
Dr. Sutherland has moved back to Omaha to be closer to family. She enjoys soft tissue surgery, dentistry and exotics.
Dr. Sarah Roelofs
Joined the practice in 2014
Educ- Univ. of Minnesota
Special Interests- Avian & Exotic medicine, Internal Medicine, Behavior
Dr Roelofs graduated in 1991 from U of MN College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent the next 13 years at the Niles Animal Hospital seeing cats, dogs, birds & other creatures. The hospital is located in a Chicago suburb, and is well known in Chicago for its avian & exotic patients.
In 2004, she & her husband moved to Omaha to be closer to his family while raising their 2 young sons. Over the past 10 years, Dr Roelofs has enjoyed working at several Omaha hospitals which allowed flexible scheduling, quality family time, and an opportunity to still treat birds and small mammals.
Dr Roelofs is excited to be part of the All Creatures Veterinary family as a full time member and looks forward to pursuing internal medicine interests, as well as behavior and avian medicine.
Besides her husband and 2 teenage sons, they presently share their home with only 2 dogs, and 1 bird- but that is always subject to change...
Dr Roelofs enjoys pet therapy visits to a local nursing home, reading, gardening & rock climbing; along with keeping up with her sons’ baseball, soccer and scouting activities.

Education : Northeast Community College
Adina graduated from Northeast Community College in 2006 with and Associate's Applied Science Veterinary Technology Degree. She was president of her class and passed her veterinary technician boards in 2006. She and her husband have a 2 sons. They also are parents to "furry babies" - Spencer the schnauzer, Lucky, Allie, Otis and Spudz the 4 cats, and Lucy the ferret. Adina loves being a technician and working with the owners and all their different pets.

Education: Vatterott College
Nicole received her degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Vatterott College in 2008. She has been working at All Creatures since then as a veterinary technician.
Nicole is married to her husband, Michael, & has 3 children.
Her furry children include her dogs- Daisy, Willow & Zoey and her cats- Puncy & Nany.
Nicole enjoys the experience of working with all kinds of animals and nursing them back to health.

Megan is a veterinary technician and has her Associates Applied Science Veterinary Technology degree from Northeast Community College. She graduated in 2007. She grew up in Omaha and moved back here from Ohio. She is married and has 1 cat named Matty.
Laurie, CSS LVT
Joined the Practice in 2004
Education: Vatterott College
Laurie graduated from Vatterott College with a Associates Applied Science of Veterinary Technology degree and took and passed her boards early. She enjoys life, doing ceramics, traveling- on the spur of the moment, playing cards/games, horseback riding in Colorado and loves Mastiffs.
Laurie's philosophy is to treat other as you would like to be treated, that what goes around comes around even though you may not see it, and enjoy your work and you will never work a day in your life.
Laurie has very close family ties with a large extended family and friends and was raised with the priorities of God, Family, Country. She has been married for over 24 years, has a son and 3 grandsons, 3 brothers, a niece and 2 nephews. Laurie in addition to being a technician is also our Customer Service Supervisor.

Molly loves animals and people too. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and a gentle touch.

David will be starting college next fall and plans to study Veterinary medicine. He is bright and energetic and has a wonderful way with animals.
Melody Golden, LVT
Joined the Practice January 2016
Education: Iowa Western Community College
Since the age of five Melody has always wanted to be a veterinary technician. This goal all started with her first guinea pig and the passion that went into learning the proper care. She achieved her dream and graduated from the vet tech program at Iowa Western Community College in 2016. Her passions are working with all different species of animals and All Creatures is a great place for that in mind. She lives at home with her roommates, five guinea pigs (Gavvin, Tilian,Prudence,Constanze, and October), and two cats (harmony and Luna)
After retiring from the Air Force as a weather officer, Cindy returned to school at Vatterott College to earn an associate degree in Applied Science Veterinary Technology. Licensed as a veterinary technician since 2002, her special interest areas include helping owners with early puppy training, preventive health advice, and quality of life questions.
Cindy has been owned by dogs, cats, rats, and Guinea Pigs. She currently has the third, fourth, and fifth generations of her Bearded Collie line... Jolie, Kylie, and Dara. When off work, she can be found with the Beardies herding sheep, making therapy visits to an assisted living residence, and practicing Rally Obedience. She has titled her Beardies in herding, Rally obedience, and conformation. Along the way, Cindy became an AKC Herding Judge and is currently an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. She also enjoyed agility and dance training with the Beardies, but while the mind and heart were willing to continue, her knees were not.
