Anne Belshan, DVM

Medical Director
Joined the Practice in 2005
Education: Iowa State University
Special Interests: Exotic Medicine, Behavior, Dermatology

Dr Anne Belshan graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After graduation, she practiced small animal and exotic pet medicine and surgery in Des Moines, Iowa and St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Omaha and finding her home here at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic.

Dr Belshan and her husband have 3 children, 1 dog, a Senegal parrot, a Russian tortoise, and too many fish to count. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and gardening.

Dr Belshan has special interests in reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, behavior, and dermatology. She loves the challenge and variety that meets her every day as a veterinarian at All Creatures.

Education: Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture & Florida Institute of Technology

Christina joined All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in July 2020. She graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture with her Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management and Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

In 2006, she moved to Colorado and worked in veterinary specialty medicine in the areas of internal medicine, intensive care, hyperbaric medicine, and management for 14 years. While in Colorado, she became one of the first to be Board Certified in Veterinary Hyperbaric Medicine in 2016 by the National Board of Diving & Hyperbaric Technology. Christina grew up on a farm in Northeast Nebraska and decided to return to her home state. She recently obtained her Veterinary Burnout Certificate from Get Motivated University.

Christina loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but her passions are management, clinical development, hyperbaric medicine, critical care, and internal medicine. Christina lives in Blair with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, party planning, and spending time with family and friends. She is an advocate for 4-H and FFA and volunteers her time to be a 4-H judge across the state of Nebraska.

Dr. Sarah Roelofs, DVM

Special Interests- Avian & Exotic medicine, Internal Medicine, Behavior

Dr Sarah Roelofs joined All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in 2014 as a full time veterinarian. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Vet School in 1991. She spent the next 13 years practicing exotic & small animal medicine at a well known bird/small animal hospital in Chicago.  She enjoys seeing birds, small mammals, cats and dogs. Her specific areas of interest include internal medicine, dermatology and avian medicine.

Dr Roelofs and family moved in 2004 to Omaha while their boys were still young, in order to be closer to family. Over the last few years, our sons grew up and moved out of the house. We replaced soccer, baseball, and Boy Scouts with rescue critters, including 2 dogs, fish and an Axolotl! We have one pet therapy dog, and are in the process of training and socializing a second dog. Dr. Roelofs and her husband are both active in pet therapy. In her free time she enjoys dog walking, reading, photography, travel, and pet therapy visits.

Dr. Mary Sutherland, DVM

Education: Kansas State University
Special Interests:  Exotics and Companion Animal medicine

Dr. Mary Sutherland was born in Omaha and graduated from Roncalli Catholic High School in 1997.  She grew up riding horses, swimming and running. She ran track and cross country for Doane College in Crete, NE where she received her Bachelor’s degree.

Dr. Sutherland then attended Kansas State University for her veterinary degree. After graduation in 2005 she married and moved to North Pole, Alaska where she practiced for 7 years.

Dr. Sutherland has five boys, the older 3 were born in Alaska. She and her husband both enjoy the outdoors and running, as well as soccer and tennis. She also enjoys way too many crafts than she has time for, including leatherwork, scrapbooking, sewing and crochet.

They own a rescued Greyhound, 3 cats, 2 horses, and a bird.

Dr. Sutherland has moved back to Omaha to be closer to family. Her special interests are exotic and companion animal medicine.

 

Molly, VA, CSR

Lead Customer Service Representative, Veterinary Assistant
Joined the Practice in October 2014
Education: Metropolitan Community College
Molly is our customer service representative and veterinary assistant who went to Metropolitan Community College. She is always willing to lend a helping hand with a gentle touch, especially with feline patients.

Molly lives in Omaha, with her husband, dog Azlynn, and a few cats. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her horses and being outdoors. She is active in volunteering and fostering for local rescue groups.

Veterinary Technician

Education: Northeast Community College

Megan is a veterinary technician and has her Associates Applied Science Veterinary Technology degree from Northeast Community College. She graduated in 2007. She grew up in Omaha. She did her internship and first 3 years after graduation at a veterinary clinic in Ohio. She moved back to Omaha in 2010 and started working at All Creatures at that time. She is married with 2 boys. Currently has 2 cats: Tango and Cash. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and likes to crochet, read, and do puzzles.

Cindy, LVT

Veterinary Technician
Joined the Practice in May 2017
Education: Vatterott College

After retiring from the Air Force as a weather officer, Cindy returned to school at Vatterott College to earn an associate degree in Applied Science Veterinary Technology. Licensed as a veterinary technician since 2002, her special interest areas include helping owners with early puppy training, preventive health advice, and quality of life questions.

Cindy has been owned by dogs, cats, rats, and Guinea Pigs. She currently has the fourth, and fifth generations of her Bearded Collie line… Kylie, and Dara. When off work, she can be found with the Beardies herding sheep, making therapy visits to an assisted living residence, and practicing Rally Obedience. She has titled her Beardies in herding, Rally obedience, and conformation. Along the way, Cindy became an AKC Herding Judge and is currently an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. She also enjoyed agility and dance training with the Beardies, but while the mind and heart were willing to continue, her knees were not.

Veterinary Technician
Joined the Practice in May 2023
Education:  Colorado Mountain College

After working as a CNA for 6 years, Joanna graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO with her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She moved to Omaha after graduating to start her career in veterinary medicine.  When not working, Joanna enjoys arts and crafts, sewing, and hanging out with her rats and leopard gecko.

Education: Northeast Community College

Lee is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from Northeast Community Collage with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2021. Lee grew up on a farm outside of Schuyler, NE. When not at work, Lee enjoys playing video games, singing, and cuddling with their two cats, Bandit and Cheddar Cheese.

Education: Iowa Western

Preslie is a veterinary assistant currently pursuing her veterinary technician degree at Iowa Western. Her passion is too one day work with large animals. When she is not busy with school, she loves spending time with my family, friends, and taking care of her family dogs, Daisie and Gus.
